About Us The Alpine Heritage Motel is a heritage listed building, built in 1872, offering affordable accommodation conveniently located in the heart of historic Goulburn, the first inland city of Australia.   The facade is an excellent three separate terraced house, the fourth was later demolished. They were then sold to become a guest house, best known as Stock's Coffee Palace during the height of the Temperance Movement.   The Motel is conveniently located opposite the Goulburn railway station and is about 100m from the Visitor's Information Centre.
